To help parents navigate their student’s Individual Education Plan, the Halton District School Board will host a parent information evening called, “Understanding Your Child’s IEP”, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at P.L. Robertson Public School in Milton.
The Board’s Student Services Department, together with the Special Education Advisory Committee, are committed to breaking down barriers to help ensure parents and guardians are active partners in their child’s education. This commitment to fostering active participation in a student’s education includes providing more opportunities for parents/guardians to learn more about their child’s Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
If you have special needs or require accommodations to attend the meeting, please contact Carol Ahern at the New Street Education Centre at 905-631-6120, ext. 323.
